One hunter will travel to the Yukon, Canada, on this 10-day, 1x1 guided Yukon -Alaska moose hunt with Yukon Big Game Outfitters Ltd. Method of take is rifle, bow or muzzleloader. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates in August 25- September 5, 2020, only. No alternate dates are available. YBGO holds the exclusive rights to guide hunters in outfitting area #20k; the largest game guiding area in the Yukon. Area 20 is in south-central Yukon, northeast of Whitehorse, and covers approximately 14 million acres or 21,600 square miles of true wilderness hunting ground. Over half their area has never even been hunted, leaving the landscape, game and genetics much the way they were 50 years ago. YBGO has held a 100% opportunity with rifle hunters, with bulls ranging from 55 inches to 70 inches. Their area has a moose population of nearly 10,000 moose, which is more moose than any other hunting concession in Canada. Each year, they strive to improve their hunts and open new ground for their clients' satisfaction. In 2017, YBGO produced 15 big bull moose over 60 inches. The widest was 68 and the largest scored 240 BNC. Shawn, who has been outfitting and guiding in the North for 25 years, will provide YBGO's current hunt report and see what YBGO clients are harvesting. Included are trophy fee for one moose, 1x1 guide service, meals, accommodations and field prep. Hunt may be upgraded to include caribou, grizzly bear or stone sheep; see outfitter for details. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, license ($700), air charter ($2,000), GST 5%, dip-pack-ship and gratuities. Additional hunters are welcome at $23,000, and non-hunters are welcome at $5,000. Hunt can be extended for $1,500/day. Arrival/departure point is Whitehorse, Yukon.
