Itcha Mountain Outfitters invites one hunter to join to join Major General Wilbert D. 'Doug' Pearson Jr. on this 5-day, 2x1 guided British Columbia black bear hunt. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates May-June 2015, only. No alternate dates are available. Method of take is hunters' choice, excluding handguns. Itcha Mountain Outfitters is rich with three generations of family traditions. Hunt may be upgraded to a 2 on 1 hunt and/or may also include second bear for $2,500 trophy fee. General Pearson entered the Air Force in 1970 as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School. He is a command pilot with more than 4,000 flying hours in the F-4, F-15, F-20, F/A-22, T-38 and more than fifty other aircraft. His flying includes 364 combat hours during the Vietnam conflict. Pearson commanded the F-15 anti-satellite Combined Test Force during the time of peak flight activity and, while flying an F-15, launched the first anti-satellite missile which successfully intercepted and destroyed a satellite in earth orbit. Prior to assuming his current position, the general served as director of operations for Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Included are fully-equipped cabin accommodations, meals, firearm permit, trophy fee for one bear and field prep. Additional hunters are welcome for $5,500. Additional non-hunters can accompany for $150 per day. Trip can be extended for $500 per day. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, license/tag ($718) and dipping/packing and shipping.
