Four hunters and four observers will travel to Italy for this 5-day trip with three days of, 2x1 guided, wild boar hunting donated by Italian Safari. Each hunter will have the opportunity to harvest two wild boar. Method of take is rifle. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates in 2019 or 2020. Italian Safari are proud to offer hunters a 10,000 acres estate, privately owned by one of the most important roman families and hunted by them only; thanks to good personal relations, they can bring in a small number of guests every year. The low hunting pressure and centuries of game management made of this area one of the best, if not the best, in Central Italy with a population well above the average and the opportunity to spot and stalk wild boar both during the day and at night. The landscape is hilly, with small forests, open fields and an ancient castle in the middle. The area is 10 minutes away from Gubbio city center. Included are accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fees for eight wild boar, field prep and firearm permit. Hunt may be upgraded to include chamois, roe deer and red stag as well as tourism opportunities, such as wine tasting and visits; see outfitter for details. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, 22% VAT on total donation value ($3,740), airport transfers (approx. $600-$700), alcoholic beverages, field preparation, dip/pack and shipping of trophies. Arrival/departure point is Rome or Florence. For more information, contact Leone Rossi Di Montelera at leone.rossi@italiansafari.com. Company's website: www.italiansafari.com
