Stu-e and Judy Rees, owners and operators of ASJ Trophy Hunting New Zealand, have donated a 5-day, 1x1 guided hunt for silver-medal red stag for one hunter and one observer. They are only a stone's throw from Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand. Method of take is rifle or muzzleloader only. Schedule this hunt with outfitter for open dates in 2015. The successful bidder will be personally guided by Stu-e Rees, one of New Zealand's most experienced guides and an international hunter. Stu-e and Judy know that hunters face many uncertainties hunting in New Zealand. They know what hunters want and expect, and they love sharing the fantastic hunting area and game with fellow hunters. Included in this donation are quality ranch house accommodations, transport to and from Queenstown Airport, transport to and from the hunting concession, quality meals, internet connection, full amenities and 1x1 guide service. Also included are the trophy fees for one red stag, field preparation of the trophy and the use of a firearm if needed. The hunt can be upgraded to include wapiti, fallow deer, tahr and chamois. The additional animals and extra days can be arranged per outfitter's current price list. Up to two additional hunters and observers may also join the hunt, see outfitter for details. Not included are airfare, use of helicopter (if required), any before/after hunt accommodations, firearm permit (NZ $25), dipping/packing and shipping, gratuities and sightseeing for the observer. Arrival/departure point is Queenstown Airport, where hunters will be met and transported to the hunting area.
